So there are definitely benefits to having an almost 10 year old and a 6 month old. The 10 year old can really help out. Last week while I had a shower, I asked Taylor if she wouldn't mind feeding her little sister. She said "Of course" and was quite excited about it. So off I went to enjoy my shower and when I got out, I found this. Taylor was really good at making sure she took lots of pictures. I love my girls.

So we decided to take a photo of the girls for our Christmas cards. We snapped about 50 - 60 shots and when we were looking through them we found this photo of Maddy trying to eat her shoe. We thought it was pretty cute.

The Girls and Santa 2008

Well, we went and saw Santa this year, but the elves taking the pictures didn't do a very good job. Taylor got bored waiting for them to get Maddy looking forward and Maddy looks like she is taking a number 2. But at least she didn't cry. Anyway, Taylor got to tell Santa all the treasures she would like for Christmas. In the end that is all that matters to the kids.

The "Boon Girls"

We decided to get into some Christmas cheer early this year. The tree is up and the house is decorated so we made some Christmas cookies (except I bought the wrong food coloring hence the pink and purple). Taylor and her cousin Anna had a great time making the cookies and decorating them.

Madeleine 5 1/2 months old

Madeleine tried sweet potatoes and didn't know what to think. She made some funny faces in the video. After a few more tries, she now seems to like them. Next we will try carrots.

She had her first cold this month and spent alot of time sleeping. She would pass out whenever she was tired.

Halloween at the Boon's

Taylor had a Halloween party this year and most of her class came to it. It was in the garage, we decorated and had lots of music and candy. The kids definitely burned off the sugar with all the dancing. We had a great night and might do it next year. It is a great way for the kids to spend Halloween.

Kyle and I went to a few Halloween parties this year. Kyle was a french maid and won the award for "Most Fantasies Ruined" and also "Most Obscure". I was Borat and won "Most Original Costume". We had a great time at both parties.

Madeleine was a Toy Poodle, she had a nice warm costume and did not mind wearing it at all.

Taylor was a 80"s rocker Chick. Lots of make-up and pink hair.

Madeleine's Playdate & Gymboree

We went to Andrea's house today for lunch before Gymboree class and met up with some friends. Madeleine (4 1/2 months) Holly (8 1/2 months) Ryder (4 months) and Megan (2 months). Madeleine had a great time hanging out with people her own age.

It was costume day at Gymboree so we dressed up. Madeleine is on the far right. She is a toy poodle. Super cute.
